After experiencing some issues with the previous version, we went back to the drawing board. As a company that’s always striving to improve, we’ve kept the same beautiful exterior and upgraded what’s inside.

We’ve replaced the internal components with newer, higher-quality technology that has been thoroughly tested for better performance and reliability.

All Sixteen gels (soak-off gels, hard gels, top coats, and gel polishes) contain light-activated photo initiators. When exposed to the Sixteen LED/UV lamp, these photo initiators activate the molecules within the gel, transforming it from a liquid into a hard, durable plastic.

Sixteen gel products become fully activated when exposed to the specific light wavelengths emitted from the Sixteen LED/UV lamp.

The Sixteen LED/UV Lamp features a wide-band wavelength to ensure all Sixteen gels cure correctly and reliably.

Each Sixteen gel product has specific cure time requirements based on its unique chemistry. It is important to always follow the recommended cure times on the product instructions.

Failing to follow product directions may result in: • Product breakdown (chipping, peeling, lifting, etc.) • An increased risk of developing allergies to the gel products
